CHAKRA: Mind, Body & Spirit

Which chakra is associated with mind?
The ROOT chakra is the first chakra of the body and is located in the base of the spine. Its role is to connect your mind, body and soul with the Earth. This chakra is feminine by nature and gives us the feeling of being close to the earth. It is known to keep us grounded and connected with the energy of the earth. Aug 9, 2019 (Chopra.com)

YOU CAN NEVER “UN-SEE" OR “UN-HEAR"

As much as you may wish to ‘forget’ or ‘undo’ your involvement in a situation that greatly impacted your life in an extraordinarily profound way... TRUTH IS: you just can NOT “un-see" or “un-hear" anything.

I worked here for years. (see pictures below)

⭐ I welcome you to West Hills Hospital, California USA

This is the hospital where I “got my feet wet" with the Craziest and Weirdest Emergency Room experiences that MANY incidents I wish could be “un-seen" and “un-heard".

These memories are stored safely away in the Hippocampus of the brains Temporal lobe. There it sits indexed and readily available for memory recall.

As much craziness that I have been involved with along with the things that I’ve seen the human body go through with regards to accidents, would be enough to drive me mad if I had to see and think about it on a ‘daily’ basis.

Fortunately, the Hippocampus has stored these memories away and I do not think about them unless I need to access or recall a specific situation and how it was handled.

Below is a very basic algorithm from AHA showing you a simplified example of Advanced Resuscitation. This is the time for the Hippocampus to be accessed immediately.

Thank you for allowing me to share a tiny piece of what I do. While performing Advanced resuscitation the team consists of five people all listening to the doctors orders. Our body will completely shut down the senses of smell, taste and not allow us to think outside the box of anything other than what the doctor states. Along with this our body is being slammed with a truckload of adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin all provided by the Endocrine system to allow superhuman feats to be performed.

This is all controlled by the brain.

Once a successful resuscitation has been obtained, the team lets down and the body’s reaction to the overload of adrenaline varies from person to person. Some people break down sobbing some people begin to shake uncontrollably and it is merely just the human body trying to readjust from the overload of Adrenaline. There is much more to it as to the role of dopamine and serotonin but we can discuss all of this later in a separate article about a role of the endocrine system.

Respectfully,

Sandra Anneman RN
